Vapor Technologies Inc., a Masco company since 1994, is the developer of the Brilliance^® coating, the original lifetime anti-tarnish finish.

This patented, low-temperature arc vapor deposition (LTAVD) technology is now providing competitive advantage to a growing number of companies within the Masco family.

From decorative hardware to kitchen, bath and shower products, Masco companies are employing Brilliance coatings to protect and preserve brass, stainless steel and other high-luster finishes.

Manufacturers of products from surgical devices to NASA launch vehicles to electronic instruments and more are also realizing improved product performance with Vapor Technologies’ LTAVD coatings.

In early 2000, Delta Faucet entered into a joint venture agreement with the Jing-Mei Company in China and Vapor Technologies to create VaporTech (China) Ltd. This represents Masco’s first venture in the international placement of Masco’s technologically advanced coating capability.
